Area airports
Reagan National
The Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the most convenient airport to use when traveling to the George Washington University Law School. Transportation from the airport is available by taxi or Metrorail.
By taxi, travel time to the law school is about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is approximately $15.00. The law school is located on the corner of H and 20th Streets, N.W. Washington, D.C.
By Metrorail, allow 20 minutes for travel. Take the Blue Line in the direction of Largo Town Center to the Foggy Bottom- GWU station. A one-way fare card will cost approximately $2.00.
BWI and Dulles
The Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) and Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) often provide a less expensive alternative than DCA. Both airports are approximately 30 miles from the law school.
A taxi from either airport will cost upwards of $50.00. Alternatively, Washington Metro Area Transit Authority offers an express bus for $3.10 from the BWI airport to the Green Line subway or from the Dulles airport to the Orange Line subway. The subway to Foggy Bottom will then cost approximately $3.90 if traveling from BWI and $1.65 if traveling from Dulles. For more information, go to
