Mr. Blaine Blood

Husband, father of three (soon to be four). Before graduating from college, Mr. Blood served a mission for his church which included service in East Los Angeles, the Cape Verde Islands, Africa, and Portugal where I learned to read, write, and speak Portuguese. After that he graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After graduation Mr. Blood went to law school at the University of Kentucky College of Law. After law school graduation, he worked as an attorney with a firm in Lexington, KY as a litigator and appellate attorney. His practice included taking cases from complaint through disposition with the trial court and through the appellate process in state and federal courts, and before government agencies. A large portion of his practice was dedicated to constitutional and statutory civil rights issues, including issues arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and subsequent amendments, 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1983, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fourth, Fifth, Eleventh, and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. constitution. He has been accepted to, and is currently studying in, the Litigation and Dispute Resolution L.L.M program at the George Washington University Law School.
