Lt Col Andrew Williams

Lt Col Andrew S. Williams is Chief, Air and Space Law and Doctrine Branch of the Operations Law Division, Office of the Judge Advocate General, Headquarters Air Force. The Division advises the Air Staff on status of forces and other international agreements, foreign criminal jurisdiction, foreign civil litigation, the law of armed conflict, information operations, air and space law, operations and exercise plans and agreements, and similar matters involving international and operations law.
Williams received a B.A. (cum laude) and a J.D. (cum laude) from Brigham Young University. He is also a distinguished graduate of the Squadron Officer School at Maxwell AFB, a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College and a graduate of the Air War College. He received a Master of Laws (Dean's Honor List) from the Institute of Air and Space Law at McGill University.
Lt Col Williams and his wife, Louise, have seven children: Anne, Sage, Robert, Sabina, Paul, John Quincy, and Beth.
