Mr. Daniel Rosenthal

Associate, Wilmer Hale

Mr. Rosenthal is an associate in the firm's Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Enforcement and Securities Litigation Practice Groups. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Rosenthal held several clerkships for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, including a clerkship for Judge Ricardo Urbina who authored the opinion in the military chaplaincy case, United States v. Larsen. Mr. Rosenthal also interned with the Department of Defense, where he conducted legal research for Assistant United States Attorneys in litigation before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and wrote legal memoranda regarding a variety of issues: national security, post-September 11th Pentagon reconstruction, and other Department of Defense operational concerns. In April 2006, the Creighton University Law Review published his article, "Charitable Choice and Title VII's Co-Religionist Exemption," analyzing the constitutional interplay between federal employment discrimination law and the Faith-Based Initiative.
